Many thirteen years old still don't know what their future career might be, they believe to be a fashion model or a fashion designer. Many people still don't know what they want to do, they think that people will choose their jobs for them. I don't think letting kids that young choose their jobs for them but when they are older they can. When you are young, you want to be something that looks fun to you, like a popstar. You think being a doctor is a boring job where you don't have fun. Your imagination comes out when you try to pick a job at a young age, for example my little niece who believes she wants to be a popstar, beautician, and also a detective with eight beautiful arms so she could do her singing, making people beautiful, and solving a crime case. I'm not trying to say that 12 year olds don't have common sense, it's because if they were given the option they wouldn't take it seriously.
Kids choose their jobs because they like it, for example a person wants to be a fashion model, they want to have fun while doing their job. Maybe one of their hobbies are to prance around in their room while looking in the mirror. If people like taking care of animals, and are absolutely in love with them, the chance they become a zoologist are high.
I want to be a doctor, a surgeon that helps people. That doesn't let them know that they are going to die. I want to make a difference in people's life and in their heart, I want to be known, not for the bad reasons but for the good ones. My mother and father want me to be a doctor, but that's not what led me to it. I realized when my brother got hurt, he was "dying" when a knife went through his finger (not completely but just enough for blood to come out) I took out a first aid box and wrapped his finger in gauze. I felt like I had done a great achievement, like I was destined to help people. I dreamed from that point on to become a doctor, to help people in need. Putting twenty dollars in the "HELP JAPAN" felt like I could make a difference in to the world. I wasn't going to let anything down, because I wanted to be the ever chosen one to touch the sky.

The Few, The Proud, The Britney Spears Fans in the Marines
"Hold It Against Me" the song by Britney Spears has taken a full blast. The song had been released January 11th, 2011 and soon averyone was listening to it.
Children, Teenagers, Adults, and Senior Citzens, but in the heart of Afganistan there are fans of Britney Spears singing her song. These people are the US army.
their new clip set to Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" is mostly built on heart. And Spears, for one, is totally feeling it. "I am in LOVE with this," Britney tweeted last night with a YouTube link. "I always knew our soldiers were fierce! Thanks for everything you guys do."
The first time I saw it I was laughing hard but I also learned that these people are no different than us. This "inspiring" video makes people laugh and also thanks the people out there working for us, and in the middle of it all that the US army can really dance.

Friday...Is It Over Yet?
Friday...Is It Over Yet?
Front seat? Back seat? How about the trunk? The song Friday is a YouTube sensation, and so is the singer, Rebecca Black, but in bad ways. The song has over 11 million hits and has entered Itunes top 100 at #37, it even has more YouTube views than Lady Gaga herself. How did this song all start with a click of a button on YouTube and fantasies to become an instant kid popstar?Ark music company said that they'll fly your child to L.A who are between 13-17 and make her sing a song, that soon goes on YouTube with millions of views.
Why would anyone even like the song? The lines are so cheesy...like "Kicking in the front seat/ Sitting in the back seat/ Gotta make my mind up/ Which seat can I take?"
Well there is already someone in the front seat so take the back seat, I don't this song has any common sense.
Another line says "On the right side is my friend" so who is on the left side, your "frenemy."
The song could have been much better if they had real lyrics, also it has a real good catchy tune, that makes me sing everyday in the morning. I like how they put out the song and Rebecca Black has a good voice but the lyrics make it look like you should sing it to a preschool kid. It basically tells us the days of the week, whoever likes it likes it and who doesn't, doesn't.
I feel bad for Rebecca Black because people cyber-bully her because she sang the song, I think people should keep their rude comments to their self because it was your problem for clicking the button "Play" on YouTube. If you didn't want to hear it that you didn't have to, no one forced you. In all the world said that this is the worst song ever, and you can't really deny that.

Pursuit To Happiness
Success comes in can's, not cant's. ~Author Unknown
Has anyone let down your dream that you been chasing your whole life? They just let your hopes fall and second guess your dreams, and what you believe in. No matter what they say don't fall down, just prove them wrong. You don't have to stop your dreams but you have to listen yourself no matter who it is, even your conscience. In school we were watching a clip of a movie called "Pursuit of Happiness" where Will Smith let's down his son saying "You can't make it to the pros (basketball) because I didn't, so don't waste your time here everyday." That let his son down and he want to throw the basketball, but Will Smith stopped his son and told him "Don't let anyone down, not even me form chasing your dreams." I agree that if you let someone let you down something you may be good at may just go to waste, if you know your not good you'll tell yourself but no one will tell it for you.
This relates to school because often we tell our peers they can't do something (as a joke) but that let's them down and makes them not do it anymore. I know a person who had not gotton on track because his mother said he wouldn't even run for two minutes. That kid particates in Cross Country nowadays. Don't let anyone ruin your dreams no matter how stupid they sound because maybe just that little hope inside of you will let you know that it can happen.
"When the world says give up, hope whispers try one more time."
If you give up your dream because you can't do it don't stop because you can.
Teachers can help this from happening because often teachers will judge a person by their habits. For example a person who talks a lot but is really smart. Teachers can give their students a chance.
This is an ispirational clip of the movie "The Persuit to Hapiness."

This is by far one of my favorite scenes of all time because it talks about the importance of having dreams, chasing them, and not letting anybody or anything get in your way. It was true back then, and it's true today. If you have a dream in life, no matter how unrealistic or outrageous your friends/family may think it is, if in your own mind you believe it's possible, then go get it!

Bloody Mary: The real truth
Ever heard of the so called Bloody Mary who just happened to killed herself and her spirit lays in every bathroom ready to disfigure any one's face if you close the lights, look in the mirror, and chant.
Who Bloody Mary really is remains a mystery. While there are many versions of this story, most accounts point to a woman named Mary Worth, who was horribly disfigured in a car crash. Some people still tell of a witch who was burned at the stake and has returned for revenge, or it may be the devil himself who comes for your soul.
Why do people even make these kind of stories? Really a ghost, I men how lame can that get? But is it really true if you went into the bathroom and id what you were suppose to do your face would come out to be messed up? Some people on the Internet wrote this:
As told on the Internet, Dec. 21, 1997:
Some of my friends, five of us, cramped ourselves into a small bathroom in my friend Cathryn's House. We ended up saying Bloody Mary (more like chanting it) about 20 times or so for anything to appear. When we did finally see something it started out as a green glow then the darkened portrait of a face became more visible, by that time half of us were screaming so we knocked each other down trying to get out of the bathroom and then I flipped on the light. It was a welcome relief.
I really don't believe that but what would people get out of writing on the Internet, maybe scaring someone out of their wits is a fun idea to them but not to me. I watched the movie "The Legend Of Bloody Mary" with my mother (thank god) and it showed how Bloody Mary commit suicide and three woman who started saying that Bloody Mary wasn't real tried and made the biggest mistake of their life.
Sometimes things scary enough make you have nightmares but I'll point that out to you that everything they show is not real. If you ever proved to the world than ghosts are real than talk to me about them.
While you may think you're safe from mean, old Bloody Mary, think again... Legend has it that if you are near a mirror in total darkness, she can still come for you, regardless of whether or not you're trying to call for her. (So Don't)
Who can forget the scary story of Bloody Mary, the evil spirit who will scratch your eyes out when summoned? Most people heard the Bloody Mary legend when they were children, listening to spooky ghost stories around the campfire. The tale is still told at slumber parties, camp outs, and late-night bonfire parties.
The legend claims that the evil woman can be summoned by chanting "Bloody Mary" into a mirror anywhere from three to one-hundred times in a darkened room lit only by a candle. (Thirteen seems to be the most popular number of chants, appropriately so.) The bathroom is the most popular setting to test out the legend, but other dark rooms seem applicable.
After the given amount of chants, the spirit will then appear in a mirror to claw your eyes out. Death will follow. Other variations have her driving you insane or pulling you into the mirror, never to be seen again.Who Bloody Mary really is remains a mystery. Let It Snow, Let it Snow, Let It... Uh-Oh!
Snow, Fun.. or Dangerous
I looked from my frosted window as the snow fell leaving just a white blanket ready to be shoveled in one place the next morning. However the next day I was left to work, and the winter solstice is a good thing? Shoveling the snow off from our driveway with my cousins took forever, suddenly we looked up just to greet ourselves to the rain, but that didn't stop work. When we were done, we rushed back in the house about to drink some hot chocolate. Snow... it has it's advantages and disadvantages, you get to miss school (It's snowing... 10 day break, thanks weather) have fun, but also you have to shovel hard, and your flight might be delayed ruining your holiday.
However, do you know how snow is formed? Snow is a type of precipitation within the Earth's atmosphere in the form of crystalline water ice, consisting of multitude of snowflakes that fall fro
m the clouds. It has a open and soft structure, unless packed by external pressure. You know those snowflakes you see in cartoon, are they really like that? They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, snowflakes are small ice crystals that fall from Earth's atmosphere, two crystals join together and supercooled cloud droplets' freeze in order to make a real snowflake.
Kids may love snow, but adults wish it wasn't even there. Why? Well, there are so many answers to that, like the fact that they are stuck in the snow shoveling in their big puffy jackets. Also power goes out during a blizzard meaning your digitally dead for the next who knows when in your house with no heat. There's no way to get out of the house, like throwing the garbage (even if it stinks) and getting food. There are also those terrifying thing called the flu, with the coldness roaming in the air, you may never know when you catch it or when it catches you.
Here some ways to be prepared in the winter:
- Keep canned food that needs no refrigerating and no cooking. You never know when the power goes out.
- First aid kit and medicine, and also use battery powered tools (such as flashlight, radio, and lamps...etc.)
- Keep extra batteries
- Keep extra necessities such as blankets, clothes, food, etc.
- Keep bottled water
Here are some tips to stay healthy:
- Stay away from sick people at least 3 or 6 feet.
- wash your hands before touching your face or eating.
- eat healthy and try to eat more vitamin D.
- Be sure to get enough sleep, without it you may have a hard time shoveling.
- Exercise, it helps make your body stronger. If you do you won't have back aches anymore.
The snow covers the trees' making it look like a beautiful scenery. It looks like a "Winter Wonderland", but is it really? Is it worth it? How did you spend your snowy break, or even sunny break? How do you feel about snow, is it worth it? What do you like about snow, and what do you hate? Please answer my questions in a form of a comment. Have a Snowy Day! :)
